Cleanliness
☐ Entire space is cleaned to hospitality standards
☐ No visible dirt, pests (NO roaches, excessive ants, rodents)
☐ Unpleasant odor (smoke, garbage, food from surrounding area, etc)
☐ Bathroom is sanitary- free of clutter
Functionality
☐ Appliances, furnishings, power plugs, plumbing, doors, keys, locks- work properly
☐ Wi-Fi, modem equipment, cable/streaming are functional
☐ Doors and windows open/close securely
Safety
☐ No exposed wiring, broken furniture, or blocked exits
☐ Property is compliant with local fire & safety laws
☐ Pet living set-up does not compromise guest health/hygiene
Accuracy
☐ Photos can be created to match real conditions
☐ Listing description will be completed, honest and up-to-date
☐ Any quirks or limitations are clearly disclosed
Shared Spaces
☐ Bathrooms shared by no more than (2) guests (maximum)
☐ Pet items (litter boxes, feeding trays) are NOT kept in the bathroom
☐ Common areas (apt/house) are tidy, temperate and odor-free
General Notes
☐ There are NO leeks, paint chipping, dirty walls, holes, etc.
☐ Building has maintenance (e.g. super) and/or has a cleaning schedule
☐ Building/apt comms/buzzer system (intercom) are functioning
☐ Home/Room has adequate ventilation, lighting and windows (for safety)
If you checked “no” on anything, the space needs adjustment before being listed.
