WHY IT MATTERS
Photos cannot convey scale, comfort, flow, or how a space actually feels. A room may look small, but fine online, yet feel cramped, uncomfortable, and impractical in person. OHK verifies space, because lived experience cannot be captured by a lens.

COMMON ISSUES...

  • Standards have collapsed
    Short-term rentals shifted from hospitality to volume. Oversight disappeared, and “acceptable” replaced “professional.”

  • Misleading listings are common
    Photos and descriptions often don’t reflect reality, size, cleanliness, condition, and shared spaces are routinely misrepresented.

  • Photos distort space and comfort
    A room may appear small but acceptable in photos; however, once inside the physical space, it can feel significantly smaller, cramped, and uncomfortable.
